New species arrives at Shalom, Zebu Cattle. The Zebu is the oldest sopecies of bovine in the world. Thought to be the first domesticated cattle going back to 8000 b.c. The whiter of the two is the female and her name is Jambu, the males name is Hodu. Native to Africa and Asia. They weigh about 600 pounds and are 4 years old. The hump on their back is a reserve of fat just like the camel. They are located in with the ostrich and next to the zebra. | Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary
